Ryan Shaffer graduated from The Ohio State University
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in Photography and Film Studies. While at the university Ryan studied under
notable photographer Tony Mendoza and Film Historian Ron Green. He then went on to work for Ohio Government Telecommunications--directing
and editing educational television programs; and then spent five years in Los Angeles working as an editor on documentaries,
feature films, and for Maxim Magazine's video and internet department. In his spare time he directs short films and documentaries;
and has also been involved in independent music production for many years. Recently Ryan has relocated to Yellow Springs,
Ohio where he continues his work in the film and video industry.
