Ryan Shaffer graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in Photography and Film Studies. While at the university Ryan studied under notable photographer Tony Mendoza and Film Historian Ron Green. He then went on to work for Ohio Government Telecommunications--directing and editing educational television programs. Since moving to Los Angeles he has worked as an editor on documentaries, short films, and as a freelance editor for Maxim Magazine's video and internet department. In his spare time he directs short films and documentaries; and has also been involved in independent music production for many years. Ryan would like to continue to expand his talents to feature length documentary and film directing.
